shave and pop-locks
Not in VA, sorry.
The process is not a complicated one. But it does take a decent amount of knowledge and skill to perform. I would say especially on our cars. The sheet metal seems pretty thin, relatively speaking. An amateur could make quick work of warping your doors and costing you hundreds more in labor to get the doors fixed right.
If you don't get any responses on here, go to local body shops that you know do custom work for a quote. If you don't know where to go, ask a local hot rodder. Just be prepared to hear some crazy high numbers.
Way back when, I got a quote just to shave two door handles on my Dakota from a regular body shop. I was quoted $600 just for the body work and primer, no paint. And I had to bring the truck in with the interior panels pulled off. On top of that I would also have to have a stereo shop wire up the solenoids and install the poppers.
I didn't have it done there, and ended up having all of my bodywork done on the truck by a very talented friend. All of the body work, plus alarm/solenoids and poppers installation was around $2000. But it was a whole lot more body work than just shaving a couple of handles.
You'll never count up every single body mod on the truck...

I can tell you now that shaving the hatch will be complete pain. I've been debating on wether or not to do mine. On the other hand, I will be shaving my handles....but I think I may wait till the winter time to do it. It sucks working in a body shop in the heat with no A/C. So, I don't think I'll be working on mine anytime soon. I just painted and went 2 tone with mine a couple weeks ago. Shaving handles can be a pain in the butt if the person isn't very good. The thin metal on the doors will warp if not done properly. Then it becomes a headache! A few years ago when I wasn't to good at welding I had a guy weld plates in the handle opening on my civic and it gave me more bodywork then you can imagine. It is a costly mod, but well worth it if done properly!
