Sorry can't make a definitive statement on street legality of any of our products, not even the clear light kits. Like most aftermarket parts, 'letter of the law' will vary with every state. The 'spirit of the law' will vary from city to city even within the same state. Most states have suitably vague vehicle inspection criteria than can seemingly contradict each other. When it comes to vehicle lighting most have stipulations about reflectivity, light visibility at a given distance, and in some cases color. If you are concerned about it vehicle inspection criteria is always a good place to start.
That aside, the TYC's are brighter than stock to begin with so are less likely to 'get noticed' in the wrong way. In the end it is up to the user. CA is a very big MKT
though.
