Smoked Side Markers

Smoked Side Markers
So I washed the box and decided i'd try to smoke the side markers. I think it turned out pretty sweet, and it was a cheap and easy mod..
The front markers were easy, pop and slide forward.. unclip the wireing and take the bulb out.. The rear ones were a little trickier, gotta unbolt the top of the inside of the bumper and pull back to reach the bolt that's holding them in..
Next step was to sand them, I used a large nail file that my GF had laying around.. it's mysteriously gone missing now to hide the evidence.. heh..
Then sprayed 2 coats of Pacta Modeling Window Tint to them. Let dry for about an hour in the nice hot FL sun, and popped them all back in..
oh, and here's the pics..
Now I can't wait for the other stuff I have coming, some Anzo Projectors, TYC Tails, Keyhole Covers, and my Imperial Emblem front badge from EZ.. I know I know, I need to drop it.. and get some new shoes.. heh

yes, the light still shines through, it's pretty dim in the daylight, so i didn't take pics, probably wouldn't show up.. but at night I believe it will look just tinted.. during the day, they look really dark, but it is transparent..
the front lights were easy to pop out, I just used my fingers and a microfiber cloth.. from the back end, grab it and pull out and forward. make sure you're covering the front end with the cloth so when it pops out it doesn't scratch anything..
the rears were a little tougher, because my 10mm ratchet was kinda big, and i had to fit it inside the peeled back rear bumper to get to the bolt.. there's only one holding the rear ones in.. wasn't too bad really..
