Ive been waiting for warmer weather to put this thing on, so after a solid cleaning (see xb home>spring break strip) i decided to do it. I was never a huge fan of the styling of the decal, but its functionality is great. I already have a few "dropped the screwdriver" nicks. its also really easy to wipe down. This is awesome because that bumper surface gets dirtier faster than anything else on my car. so here it is. And yes is used the hair dryer on the fur too

 

Another option for those who do not like the look of this, is clear bra. Precut pieces are available from invisible mask for about $75.

I think they look good on any xB, simply because of the black accents around the windows, dark glass, black tires. Even better with a Yakima rack, any other black accents that might be added.

They're better than nothing for the wear and tear factor, but I do wish there were something more substantial available, like the molded rubber treads on some suv's...

 

They are ok for daily drivers that see mall duty. Just don't get wax on it though. My first one was made out of clear 3M stuff then I moved up to the chrome bB piece and love the look.
