My crack didn't show up immediately when the most obvious stressors happened, but a few days later. I freely confess I'm grasping at straws here.

Default broken windsheild also? need help

Drove home from work last week and parked my xb in the garage. Woke up to a beautiful day and was getting ready to wash it. Found a crack like 18 inches long. Went to a few toyota dealers and from looking far away not even up close they all said a rock must of hit it. Wow they must of taken the same windsheild exam, from a far coarse. I figure it must of been a stress crack since it happened at night and not from being hit by a rock. I called scion customer joke line to have them promise me time and time again to resolve this issue and they never call back.I really wish I would of bought the honda they really care about their customers....Moving on. Does anyone know a good toyota dealer that is willing to due warranty work? seems like most around here in the orange county area of ca wont. Do you know the secret password to make the scion customer joke line call you back and cover warranty items? Any help would be great and thanks for your time.

this is an old thread kinda..but 10" crack i think you got lucky. I get hit by well for lack of better wording ...a **** load of rocks. I got 3 pits and 1 crack that was about 15" long and 2 more that where just about 8" long..good thing insurance covered for it. Either way 1 crack or a destroyed windshield it still has to get replaced

Why yes, I have the upper strut brace and a the lower tie bars and no cracks *knock on wood*

Figured i would chime in here as well. I have my box broken into twice and had three windows replaced so far. I need to get two small dings in my windshield fixed. Now it's not hard to find glass for the box at all. When i had to find my drivers side bck door windows in early 05 they had to be shiped here from japan . So I guess you could say i have "JDM" windows lol hahaha.
