Sound DEADENED Rear WIPER--yeah thats right
So ive been planning to tear off the rattling disaster that is my rear wiper for some time now. I was bored today and had some adhesive foam strips left over from some other random projects. I lined the inside of the wiper arm with the strips, witch after testing helped a little. Then i added two more strips to the walls of the arm. This holds the blade tight. The blade itself is what makes all the noise so this second step killed 85% of ALL wiper noise. So for the 5 min in labor and few cents this stuff costs, do it up:

When did you find the rear wiper rattling? I have a small box with 2 12"s in the rear and mine doesnt rattle. What i did to eliminate that was i took an old comforter i had laying around. I tore it open and took the poly-fill from inside and stuffed it into the entire trunk. Now nothing rattles in the rear, my subs hit nicely and i get a nice solid THUNK when i close the trunk lid.

the wiper def rattles a certain frequencies. Go thru a few bass tracks and stand near the trunk, eventually youll see what im talkin bout. It comes from the joint where the blade fits on

Yeah I had this problem as well, I have two 10'' Audiobahn competition subwoofers running a 1000 watts rms a peice! You can guess my whole house shook when I was parked in the garage but my rear windshield wiper was dancing like crazy so mine had to go. Now I got a quarter in that whole. No joke!
