Default Splitters...yay or nay

thinkin SMALL front splitters may be a good idea to avoid some lip kit scraping. not a fan of huge mulitcolor ones but i think black ones for my blu onyx would work. and on another note, can these be made easily, n if not where to buy.

Lots of problems with that lip and lower grill. I actually keep the side pieces of the lower grill out most of the time and just throw them in at shows. I can make them fit. Just havent had time to shave the lip where it needs trimming. The splitters are made out of 1/4" plexi-glass. I made a custom template of the lip's bottom contour out of cardboard and transferred it to the plexi. Then I cut the plexi and trimmed it to fit. Next I primed and painted the splitter black. They are secured with 3 bolts underneath the lip on each side and then the splitter rods I got from Home Depot. They are just turnbuckles I custom bent to fit the application. Total cost for the project was about $40...

<- still wants you to make me a set.

lol

We all understand... but I don't think it changes the fact that we still want some... Take it as a compliment.

But seriously, it would work on ALOT of different vehicles... if you could get a template to a metal shop, buy the little hinge-thingies in bulk... make a few hundered... they'd be easy to sell at shows/ebay...

Yeah I'll see if I can get a full DIY done sometime soon. I still have the templates that I used originally and I might even have pics of the process. I dont remember if I took any...
