Default Moons

Check here... cheaper.

And yes I have had them fall off. Seems to be a wheel mounting weight interference issue. I kept an extra set of four around to replace them when they fell off. SOOOO... my final spare fell off and am now down to 3 (excellent cond). Could sell those if interested, so you buy one more and be done. Just a thought.

They only seem to fall of one wheel, but it is a pain though. They sure do look good when their on though. :-) I used the screw-on type on a different vehicle and they worked beautifully. But, they interfered with the balance weights, so you either have to place the cover under the weight or have the wheel reverse balanced. Awwhhh the price we pay for cool.

I got mine off of http://www.hubcapmike.com/ , theres no way they would fall off, but they do make an audible ticking noise that you can hear with the windows down while driving.

i recommend investing in the mooneyes.com ones, they're quality. the generic brand ones fall off, mooneyes stay on. the only down side to moons is the ticking, it can get annoying.

the ticking is from the metal to metal contact of the hubcaps metal retention clips against the steel wheel. Its not loud, but you can hear it with the windows down and if you're driving slow with the windows up. you wont hear it with music on.

I have a set of these covers on my box. I bought them from JC Whitney some 12 years ago for a truck I had. So far they seem to stay on the wheels even at 115 mph
I keep checking them every once in awhile to make sure they don't have any gaps against the wheel. Until I decide what wheel I want, I'll keep these on for now.

Mine stayed on, but had the ticking, which drove me crazy. I got mine via ebay.
