Go in your yellow pages. Look under Automotive body shop equipment and supplies you might find some auto paint stores listed. Call a couple local body shops and ask where they get their paint from. Pick a brand (I like PPG) and use that brand materials throughout the job. Most paint stores are willing to suggest the correct materials and steps necessary for a professional job.
mad sciontist,
try a local NAPA store. the paint dept. at a NAPA near me uses a pretty sophisticated mixing system to match factory paint. it actually measures out how many DROPS or dropLETS are needed of each paint component I know my TCM paint has over 10 different colors in it (black, blue/green, oxide red, copper pearl, bright med. metallic, large metal flakes, plus polycure) 'cause i asked the guy at their paint counter. you might want to check them out . . .

Did you tell them the color of your cars paint or did you need to know all those different colors so they could match it? Im just saying, can i walk in a NAPA and say, i need black sand pearl... Would they look at me like im crazy or actually be able to help me?
You don't have to worry about what's in your particular paint color, just know your Scion paint code. Open your driver's door, look down at the door jamb where there should be 2 stickers. One will tell you about your tires (size, load range, pressures, etc.); the other one---closer to the door latch---will be black with small silver lettering. Read down to the next-to-last line, just below a bar-code-like thingie. On my TCM toaster, it reads:
"C/TR: 1D2/F296"
The "C" is your color, so "1D2" is my paint code for ThunderCloud Metallic.
Just take that number into any automotive paint store and---just to confirm---give them your xB year and color name (BSP for you). The number they come up with should match your door-jamb paint code. (That paint code may also be listed somewhere back in your trunk, too?)
Oh, and the NAPA store I went to does use PPG automotive bases, like TerribleTed recommended. Good luck . . .

www.paintsratch.com - they carry all of the stock scion colors, and can provide the paint in spray cans as well as pints and gallons.
You can refer here for the paint codes: http://conceptinmotion.numutant.net/...er=asc&start=0
BSP is 209

www.paintscratch.com - fixed it for you
Using the paint code will get you a close but maybe not exact match. Ideally the mix from the formula for the code should be exact but many times it is not. The cars vary some right out of the factory. The best match is to take a sample steel part (gas door...too bad xB one is rivited on...plastic part is second best since they are usually a bit different color anyway ..but perhaps a lip or even maybe the little cover from the rear tow hook spot...but this is a bit small) and the paint code to a paint supplier that has a good color match technician. He can mix the formula check it and add tints to make it a closer match to the actual car.
