Does anybody know where I can find replacement tubing for underglow neon? I found one site, but they wanted $75 for 1 side tube. That's rediculous. I can almost buy a whole new neon set for that price. I only need to replace one tube on the side of my car.

Ok when I say tubing, I'm just talking about the hollow acrylic tube that the neon bulb fits into. Not a single neon tube. Sorry for the confusion.

 

I'd just buy another whole set for many future replacement part. Don't think you can buy just the clear acrylic tubing. If it can be had you might want to check with sign places.

 

I wanna switch to led's anyway, so I'm not even gonna bother now. I don't like the way you can see the neon tube based on how thick it is. Atleast with led's, the tubing isn't so big.

 

Have you thought about using cold cathods instead? I just did the white ones on mine and they are brighter than my LEDs ever were. I used one pair per side and front and rear. 4 12" sets did the whole xB. Under 60 bucks total upgrade.

neons? or cold cathodes?? if i can't get cold cathodes, then i'd prefer led's.

 

Leds have thier pros but it's hard to find the ones that are really bright.

 

I've got white neon, and they're pretty bright.

 

There's more than enough room on the xB to hide tubes under there.

The way you have your side tubes set up looks nice. I have mine drilled underneath the side skirt. I didn't think about drilling into the metal and hiding it behind that. Not a bad idea. That WOULD hide it alot better!
