Different names, but liftgate trim, garnish, molding. Just search on Ebay for exterior parts for your car, then click on moldings. They are in there.

 

It's commonly refereed to as the 'hatch handle'.

I was one of the 1st persons here on This Forum to Warn about the Poorly Designed Weak Hatch Handle breaking off 9 years ago being an Original 2006 xB Owner.
People then were insisting 'It was not a problem' and telling me that 'Their handle never broke', I must be misusing or abusing it'.
I had to go to the Dealer's Parts and get the handle twice at $110.00 each time.

Scion finally came out with a TSB to replace the handle free (since expired). Same Design Team did the tC1. It's handle was also breaking.
I am an Sr. Engineer with over 40 years of experience.

I just got this xB with a blown engine.

I picked up a used engine with just 27k miles on it from an Echo.

I haven't gotten this truck running yet.

I flip cars but plan on keeping this one as it will make a good DD.
