Are there glass companies that buy your OEM glass as a credit toward factory tinted replacement glass? My brother replaced the cracked windshield on his truck with a tinted one and it really liked it. I'm not a fan of stick-on tint.

 

just what windows on an xB could you possibly replace with "factory tinted" that had come stock in clear???

they don't make front door glass replacements that are factory darkened. It's against US Federal law (FMVSS205), so even overseas manufacturers don't even bother to make the glass at all. Same goes for front windshields.
