I tried to do a search but could not find anything. I am tring to find any tips on removing that black tape stuff around the windows. I was tinking a heat gun but did not know if that would do it.

heat gun or hair dryer. OR... peel cold and use a mild solvent to dissolve the adhesive left behind (which you might have to do anyway.) Although a heat gun is much easier as the tape will probably want to break into chunks as you pull it.

(or... wait another 6 weeks for the hot weather to get here and then peel them)

I love the look the bop has after the black window vinyl is removed. I guess that's why I did mine.

 

wow, I feel like a total failure, I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I even went and looked at my car, black tape around the windows? any more specific description? I hate to ask somebody for a pic.
