Default window trim tape REPLACEMENT

I know this thread is going to be a little backwards as most of you are removing the tape around your windows. I was wondering if anyone has seen the tape for sale so you could put it back on. A couple of the pieces on my PW are torn up (damaged by a roof rack), and I'd really like to be able to fix it. I think white looks strange with the tape removed. Thanks!

^^^ I would also think you could order it through your local dealership. Personally I would just remove all of the tape and have it painted black instead of the new tape option.

It is pretty cheap even at dealer prices, usually less than 20 per door. The pieces come perfectly trimmed to fit around all the curves and edges, tec.,. Thats one thing I would actually reccomend the dealer as your best bet..

Which dealer did you talk to and get that price? And/or do you know the part numbers involved. I called the dealership where we got them (the cars) and spoke with one of the parts helpers; seems the normal counter guys were off. Front door pieces are $83.45 & $72.05 and the rear door pieces are $27.23, $40.74, and $72.05. He read me that, and I almost crapped myself. Seems a bit steep for some 1 inch vinyl strips.

Thanks for the help so far guys. Looks like I may be the only person that likes white better with the tape on.

tape on is fine.. I have worked for a few dealers, and we
replaced the "tape" all the time under warranty, when I
would see the prices, it never was that high, but none of them were toyota, so... my bad. Still think its the bast bet for tape (if not painting)
