my buddy did his lotus and it looked better then the factory paint. buy air release vinyl thats 2 mil and you will be good. he did my mirrors, and we are doing my front clip and roof matte black. if you buy good quality vinyl aka 3m or orcal it can last 5-8 years depending on mil and brand.

i had a jeep wrapped in vinyl and it did harden and crack after a few years. when i attempted to remove it it took some of the old paint up and left some sticky crap in other places. luckily I took the vinyl off to paint the jeep so it wasnt too much of a headache!

me too and also the front bumper. I'm going to have it buffed out and if that doesn't work thinking about the vinyl

I did the plasticdip on my hood because it was beat to death. Turns out not bad if you do multiple layers.

I wrapped by Subaru back in 2010, and then plastidipped my MINI last year. Wrapping was a pain because it was a learning curve, and PD was an easy job, took me 5 hrs with washing the car.
