I tried to start my xb and it didn't sound like it normally sounds when its cranking. The instant I turned the key, I knew it wasn't going to crank over. It sounds like metal to metal grinding. I replaced the plugs and the coils. It started for 2 seconds then turned off. Tried it again it had that metal to metal sound again. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks

 

Find the source of the noise first.
