only question I get is " hows the gas mileage?" I usually say 30-35 City/Freeway. They say oh like they are impressed. Also they think it weighs a ton but I say itrs pretty damn light. I guess they dont expect how light the xB really is comared to other cars the same size. Wish I got the other questions about who makes it......

Not many ask about it in SOCAL---I guess it has been here the longest and is seen pretty often.

I love stories like this. Next time why don't you take 'em for a test-drive, you never know they might buy one.

I'd have to say the same too. When I was in cleveland about a 2 months ago for almost a week, I only saw a handfull of boxes during my entire visit. Some days I did not even see one!!

Everyday in california, I see like 50+ on the road.

Ditto on the Caliornia remarks. In my area I can usually spot 3 or 4 on my 11 mile commute to & from work. I still manage to get the “what is that!?” reaction every so often. Strangely enough, it’s usually senior citizens. (I’m talking 65+ years.) Just 2 days ago I had one excitedly approach me in the grocery lot. Turns out he was visiting from Spain and it was his first time seeing one. His English wasn’t the best, but he was very excited and said it was “Bonita.” And, heck yeah, I opened up all doors and let him look around.

I usually get asked if it's a hybrid. I've had mine only two weeks, PW '06 xB.

I remember when I first got mine in 03 with ice metals exhaust and suspension. I would tell people it was a Benz and they believed me hahaha . I went down to LA and people were looking at my ride instead of a Lambo or Ferrari. I was the proudest person to have an xB. Hands down to scion/toyota

Yeah..in so-cal, other xB drivers even maddog you for driving the same car they have...
One guy with a stock '05 even told me he's sick of seeing the same car everywhere- and how he thought it was cool when nobody had one. It seemed like a stupid thing to say, so I thought he was trying to make some comment directed towards me--So I explained to him that I like seeing the car around, 'cause it's a great car, and that...*ahem*...I got mine in august of '03.
I guess some people want to be the only one driving it. If you want a unique car--thats what modding is for.

It was worse when they were first released. I got my xB in the first day they were released to the southeast. People were practically driving off the road, that's how distracted by the car they were.
