Until you have kids of your own someday, you just won't understand.

If you want to speed, be a real man, grow some *****, and take it to the race track.
Then you'll have actual proof for your numbers, not just some BS bragging in a chat group.

I get so sick of all these idiots who think the street or the highway is the place to race.

I volunteer as a first-responder (medic) and too many times I have seen what happens
when these fools loose control. Some innocent person gets killed or maimed
but most of the time, the reckless driver is the one who dies.

It's sad to watch a teenager (or 20 something) who has their whole life ahead of them
coughing up blood and going into shock, while you struggle to stop the massive blood loss
because their legs are missing.

The worst was the freekin' idiot who did a 140 MPH wheelie on his motorcycle right into a bridge support.
We found his helmet, with his head still inside.

The rest of his body got turned into paste.
All that’s left is for the fire department to wash the blood off the street.
Sort of like this wreck...

Use your brains people, take it to the race track.

hate to be the burben of bad news. But, my friend from MD was easily doin that speed in his z 24 when they had 6 cyl. anyway. well he got nabbed and went to jail on the spot. And got out. When he went to court he had to do a weekend in jail and his license was suspended for 6 months. But, im not sure if he had a lawyer or not. I wish you luck on gettin acquited but them Va cops don't play esecially on 66. Did he see your radar detector? since they are illegal in va...... Good luck. and sorry to hear what happend. get your self johnny cochran and have him argue something about the shape of the box and that there is no way it could do 106 against the wind.... i believe it can but won't try it...

Theoretically, it should do 130 before the rev limiter kicks in. . At 110 mph my auto BOX is turning around 5,200 rpms. Didn't want to push it more than that, but sure it could

Maybe You roll it instead...

Or hit another car...

this is exactly why even 108hp will be too much when my kids are old enough for a car. No, I think they will get a 1973 pinto. Can those things even get to 85?

I bet i could tell yolu how each and everyone of those driver wrecked....

"blow out" -- doing the posted 55.... yeah even in safe conditions, bad things happen!!

"Roll it" -- Some old lady trying to apply make-up runs off road, hits ditch and flips 3 times..... Revoln can be dangerous.

"Hit another car" -- Heres proof! dont drink and drive.

NOTE: Bad things can happen to anyone at anytime. Yes by speeding increases the danger and decreases reaction time..... But not everyone who gets into an accident is "speeding" or being a "DUMB ___" i have to ask.... how long have you been driving and how many tickets and accidents have you been in? truthfully.

I've been driving for 5 years ( i know its not a long time) driving over 150,000 miles so far, got 1 ticker (this one) and have no accidents, or any insurence claims for that matter (knock on wood). I know MANY people who do not drive any faster than 5mph over the speedlimit but have been in more accidents than i can count on one hand, and all are under the age of 21. The closest thing to an accidenti've been in is when a beginner drive tapped the back of my truck at an intersection. Her father in the passenger seat had a disappointed look after his daughter tapped my truck with his car. So i just drove off and he was glad i did.

Thanks moto, my point exactly, I've hit 122 on my Accord, and have i gotten pulled over NO, did I crash, NOPE, and am I dead, HELL NO. NO miracle and no luck. Everyone out there that is posting BS about, you are gonna crash, thats stupid, and all that other crap, y'all know what, these forums are to find out what our boxes are capable of. So don't cry if we are not concerned about the other details about the dealing with the situation.

NICE driving moto, too bad you had to get caught. Maybe next time you can have the same luck I did, once I got stopped for; racing, hitting 110, and passing a red light. And guess the cop didn't give me anything. Now for all of you outhere complaing about safety and driving skills. I've been stopped 3 times for speeding including this one( NO TICKETS) and once for changing lanes with out signaling (SURE ENOUGH STUPID COP GAVE ME A TICKET FOR THAT) I've been in 3 crashes. In 2 I got hit from behind (which should tell you something about other drivers) and once I hit a stupid van that just hit the brakes in the middle of the F'ing freeway, so can you really blame. Well this is my story, I suggest you back off everyone who is amazed at what the xB's are capable of, cause again that is what the forums is for. So watch out if you see a xB around Harris or Travis county area doing 120, that just might be me, so be so kind as to get out my way. THANKS.

yeash, the guy who originally posted this gets that what he did is wrong. the rest of you idiots are lucky. and i know it doesn't matter what we say, because you will never learn until something happens. thats what sucks about human nature. we're all big idiots that think we know better. i'm with window tint, heres to hoping you guys hit a tree rather than another car or person. and hopefully you guys don't have other people in your car when you think you're speed demons.

oh, and on a side note, i really don't believe this whole thread. not that i've tried, but i don't think the box's govenor will let it hit anything above 110, so unless it's modified....bs.

ok there are 3 types of driver.....
Good driver..... aware of their surounding, causious, obeys all traffic laws basicly the DMV poster child

Stupid Driver.... Speeds anywhere ie: neiborhoods, backroad, crowded streets; runs lights, drinks and drives.... basicly just plan acts foolish. looking to get into a crash, hurting them aswell as others

Then the combo of both.... Obeys laws, all trates of a good driver, but then will break the speed limit on an EMPTY section of road.... or Take corners that ARE NOT blind.... knowing what is ahead. Basicly using his/her head when driving.... if there is even the slightest risk of endangerment of others, doesnt take the risk...

So yes, what i did was wrong..... but i see it as a hell of alot safer than running redlights, speeding down a busy intersection, doing 60 in a 25 @ 4pm. or even using a cell phone while driving.... which i know every SOB who has flamed me has done in their life time.... if they say they dont... their lying!! But would have i of sped if there was a risk of hurting someone else? NO! would i have done it at 2am w/ the risk of deer? NO! would i have done it if it was snowy? NO!
