2002 article. I'm thinking they are talking about it being silmilar to the 4x4 class of the element, maybe? And, were they calling it the bBx at that time?

 

perhaps they are refering to the AWD (only available in auto unfortunately) bB. By the date of the article the bB had been released. the bbx is the name of the concept vehicle
