As posted previously, we just got a sweet '04 xB. No owner's manual. Local Toyota dealer wants $55 for one. Holy crap!!!! Any place a bit more reasonable?

You might try asking the folks at trdsparks or scionpartspeople. They both have good prices on OEM parts, and the owner's manual is sortakinda an OEM part...

 

Try contacting owners whose cars have been totalled, and who've posted here about it... also local junkyards. The manual is something that generally stays with the vehicle, even when it crosses to the other side...

BTW, I was able to order one at books4cars.com - not cheap, but cheaper than the dealership!

 

I am a paying member at TundraSolutions.com so I guess that's why I found the manual to be downloadable. The forums are free and the premium membership is $25 a year.
