Alright- Who Stole My license plate?!
So early in january when we ordered our RS 3.0, we checked on the Virginia DMV's website for the availability of "NVMYBOX". It was available.... Yesterday when we went to do all the paperwork at the dealer, we rechecked it, and somebody took it! I think an unscrupulous character read my member name and ganked our future plate! Once we get the new plate we requested, I'll post our selection....
You devil, you know who you are and you should be ashamed of yourself....
Oh, and BTW, our 3.0 didn't make it in, it's due on monday or tuesday at the latest. But it is all paid for....

That's why we didn't tell anybody our plate before we ordered it. We got "BOXENVY".
We ordered it for the car my wife is trading in. The plates will transfer directly to the
new box.

Ever consider the possibility that somebody else might have thought of the same plate? I just find it highly doubtful that somebody saw a username on a internet forum and said "I gotta have that as my plate!"

Ok, first thing-
I'm not really mad whatsoever. Maybe just a lil bummed.
Second, It is likely that someone could have easily thought of it themselves. As much as I would like to think so, I do not hold the exclusive copyright on nimble wit!
And third (which only further goes to prove your point...)-
I was sitting at the dealership trying to think of something new, and when I get home to post the happenings, I find out that I chose the SAME STINKING PLATE AS THE FIRST GUY TO REPLY TO MY POST!!! (sorry Baine, i didn't know) Oh well, I guess someone else knows a little about freud also....
But hey, I still like it and I'm still jonesing hard to get our box!
Oh, and thanks for the consolation EnvyMe, it helps ease my distress...

can make up using the word box and most of the people on Scionlife seem to have a
quick wit. That does lead to the simultaneous posting we see so often. However, My
wife did manage to snag the BoxEnvy screen name.
