Default Another Vandelist attack...

So i went to a buddy's 21st B-day party.

parked my car in a secure secluded spot away from everyone else's vehicle in the hopes that no one would stumble in their drunken stupor and put a dent in the xB...

i got along just fine with everyone at the party, i was basically the party boy's best guy there. everyone was cool, no problems anywhere.

next morning... this is what i find...

damage is gouged into the metal... some spots had so much pressure that it put dent creases into the metal...

didn't the "key someone's car" phase end in the effing 80's?!?! what happened to taking up the problem with the person you have the problem with and solve it like an effing adult?!?!

half the problem is, 75% of the people at the party were good friends... i'd hate to find out it was one of them...

Two things here... well, three.
First... sorry to see that. Keying someone's car is such a pathetic thing do to do.

Second, it's possible it wasn't anyone at the party, just someone random, which brings me to part three.

Parking your car in a secluded lot might seem like a good idea, but it also is out of view to allow any vandals plenty of time to mess your car up before anyone sees them. Better to park your car out in the open where everyone can see it.

Seems like it could be an opportune time for a new paint color though. The whole thing really needs a new paintjob.

god, why do people do that kind of stuff?

What do you think you are going to do? Get it re-painted or what?

Who ever did that should be tied to a chair and hit with hammers!!! Go get yourself a nice custom paint job and when you see it afterwards it may ease the pain a bit.

that is the worrst keying i think i've ever seen. looks more like they did it with a sharp phillips head screwdriver.

here's what you do, think back to the girl at the party showing you attention and then match her with the guy that everyone know's wants her but she wants nothing to do with. he did it to your car.

lol i kid. i kid. so what happens now? are you going to your insurance about it??

dang man. i really hope you find out whoever did it and get them to pay for the damage or otherwise. it's a shame bad things happen to good people.
hope it goes alright.

well, before this, there wasn't any scratches or chips or any kind in my paint. what small one i did get over time i repaired my self and did a pro job doing it to, you'd be surprised if i were to point out all the spots that i've done...

it wasn't THAT secluded, maybe 10-15 feet away from the others. what makes me think it was someone at the party is ONE, the place the party was at was secluded, noone around to do anything like that randomly. TWO, who ever did it had LOTS of time, it's pretty obvious, who ever did it had a good art class on my car. and it's only on the sides where the light wasn't showing...

there were people outside who of which HAD to have seen something. as it sits now, i have 4 people in mind that i know for a fact was near my car while the time i was actually outside.

what REALLY p!sses me off is the fact that ALOT of people there were good friends of mine and have been for a very long time with alot of respect for me.

so far that i've found...

it's a full body paint job
some points on the hood have dent creases in it so... gives me a reason to want to buy a CF hood...

why couldn't they have done it to my hatch? really... i don't care about it, i'm getting a CF one anyway... eff up the hatch door all you want, i don't care, $5 out of my pocket and it looks brand new again so it's nothing to me...

fortunately i don't have that problem haha.

though there was a younger kid who has a thing for this other girl, both friends of mine... he's got a thing for her, but she doesn't like him... she doesn't like me... that i know of atleast but i know he trys to take advantage of her being drunk and there was one point that she was GONE... i mean GONE, blasted out of her freakin mind GONE... and she was stumbling around and he was trying to get her to sit with him alone and i didn't allow it 'cause he's... pretty much a dumb@$$ so i wanted to make sure he didn't do something he would regret and i know he'd be asking me why i didn't stop him in the first place.

thing is, this same guy is the one who originally pointed it out. it was a day after the party and i asked him to come help me cause some of the party stuff was still in my car from us all cleaning up afterwords. asked him to go on the driver side and get this hamper out that had some of the costumes. he didn't even get to go all the way around the car and he immediately stop and his remark was "dude, WTF happened to your car?!?!". I've had plenty of experience with psychiatric care because of my old man and the reaction my buddy did was pretty legit for the most part.

the main problem is... the other friend of mine who had all the phone numbers of everyone at the party... his phone was stolen from us and we don't know how. which for some reason seems too ironic... and i know for a fact that my buddy who's phone is gone now isn't anywhere near a suspect cause he was inside with me the entire duration of the party, and if not inside, we were outside shot'n the **** while he had a cigarette and then we'd go back inside. and the other guy who originally brought it to my attention was with me for most of the time and normally with me while outside aswell so...

i was told directly though, that i WILL need to do a full re-paint of the vehicle. I'm going to either keep it the TCM or do a stealthy satin black. i'm not one for custom paint jobs, not that i don't like them, i respect them for the time and effert but i like to keep it solid and clean.

Sorry, I thought this was my car. I was a bit hammered, so putting the key in the lock was a chore.

That does suck, though. I would almost say it's someone that has a problem with you. I don't think random vandals would go to that much trouble on an xB.
