Default any recent RS news?

anybody hear from their dealerships at all yet? its getting closer to march! the dealership im getting mine from called me today and informed me that they are OUT...but they dont have one in stock yet. so i was just curious if anybody else has had any info yet. when i heard that, i told her she should find out a little bit MORE info about when im getting it or i WILL go take my business elsewhere. it seems a little shady of scion to not be giving them any info!! its sad when you wlak up to the dealership and they look at you like you dont know anything when you talk about the RS1.0!!! oh well, just imy opinion..

Dealership I'm talking with said that he was told that Scion is planning on letting the automatics out first....... Why you ask, I have no idea.

We almost did it! We almost lasted half a week without RS1 rumors!!!
You just need to wait a few more days for the next set of allocations to post with the dealers. Only half of the regions getting the RS got their allocations last week, the other half get them this week. Once they get their allocations, you will know if your dealer is getting one, and if it will be a auto or mani. There will be Mani's and Auto's on this allocation. Remember, not all dealers are going to get a RS1 on this allocation, it could take a few allocation cycles before they have a RS1 post on their list. They have other xB's to receive also. Some of us have been waiting since December, so everyone needs to show just a little more patience for a little longer.
The key is to communicate with your dealer, and when they know, hopefully they will tell you. But like I said, you may be their first preference for a RS1 but they may not get it on their allotment until late march, which means an April delivery. If you want it, then it is worth the patience and the wait.
Give it a few days and the information surrounding the RS1 will become a little more clearer. Some folks have decided that they know the port date, the shipping date, and the srrival date. But somehow I find that hard to believe. (if you have proof, PM me...)
So just sit back and wait, watch, and may the Lava be with you!!!

DAMN!! Just got off the phone with my dealer. They weren't allocated any in this shipment. He says they will have their next allocation in 2 weeks. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Oh well, more time to decide on wheels (too many options). Good luck to all and congrats to those who get ones on the first allocation.

My dealer told me he was getting the "Hot Lava xB," as he worded it (didn't even know what an RS 1.0 was, which makes me think he may have been lying), in April.

I am not getting it, but he had offered it to me.

He works at Parkway Toyota in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, for all those Jersey folk who might be interested.

Not trying to put a rumor up, just thought it was a possiblity...

Just got off the phone with the inventory manager, and here is what he said. " Allocation doesnt arrive until sometime around 9 to 12 PM this evening, and it usually takes a day or 2 to finalize, so look to hear from me on Friday. Also, i have to call the regional manager as soon as i get off the phone with you ( meaning me, CB ) and im going to ask him when we can expect to get your RS1 in ".

So boys and girls, i have nothing to report this far, and Friday cant get here soon enough, as soon as i find out, ill post.

<== still waiting, and waiting, and waiting ....
