Default anyone else have this problem?

at least once a day, even before I got the new wheels, my active stablilty and TCS will go crazy. it normally happens right after I start driving, when the car's been started and warmed up for the first time of the day. sometimes I'll get the beep, and other times just the light on the dash will flash. but today was the last straw. It beeped, and locked up all the brakes. I am not taking any more chances, the car is going to the dealer later today. I swear, it's just one thing after another with this car... my clutch is slipping, and it's only been 7,000 miles. no one learned to drive stick on this car.

I forgot to mention that this happens for seemingly no reason at all. the car is not sideways, in a drift, etc. just driving normally.

Did you purchase the XB brand new? If not, was this a salvaged vehicle? Could it have gone through a flood?

Get it to the dealer. Let them figure it out. Good luck!

I would call first. Dealers around here can sometimes take a few days/weeks to get you in. You don't want to waste your time sitting around at the dealership for a few hours only to be told that they can't fit you in. However, when you explain the problem over the phone, they should be able to get you in rather quickly since it really impairs your ability to drive!

Give them a call, see about a loaner since it's a warranty repair.

well, I brought it over about 15 minutes ago. I have to bring it back in about a half hour. the guy didn't seem too eager about a loaner. I have a dcotor's appt about an hour and a half after the dealer appt, which I absolutely have to go to.

ok, so I just got home, they evaluated it, and they told me that nothing was wrong, and I must be riding the clutch. I am positive I'm not. this is beginning to ____ me off. I have a potentially dangerous car and a dealer that will do nothing for me.

If there is another dealer in the area, I'd bring it to them ...

Sublimize23 ,

Sorry to hear about the problem, What dealer did you take it to?

I live "close" to WC and thought you might wanna check out tri-county toyota, When I was looking to buy they treated me very well and seemed like a stand up establishment. you might wanna check them out.

Tri-County is located near rt 422 in royersford. its a bit of a ride for you up 202 but it might be worth it.

Good luck

CAMBY
