Default Anyone have suggestions on buying Ventshades/Vent Visors

Tired of getting wet when I lower the window.
Anyone have a preference on what manufacturer to purchase?
Pricing or deals. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks.

I got the same problem! Every morning the dew in the rubber tracks on the roof of the xB slides down into the front windows when braking. Gets irritating as hell... I don't like the look of vent shades so I'm ___ out...

BTW, while on the subject of the windows, anyone know what those little 'nubs' are above the mirror on the outside of the window frame? Don't mean to hijack...

From the paperwork I rec'd with the vent shades. looks like his website is:

www.wadeauto.com

Jeff Wade
863 So. 500 W.
Salt Lake City, UT 84101

I think the part # is 2484496916, In Channel Vent Visor Scion xB 03-04. These are the types that fit inside the window channels, not on the outside window frame.

Price was $49.95 + shipping/handling

I do not like the look of shades either, but I'm getting to the point where being wet is less desirable than having 2" of plastic glued to my window!

Yea the Wade's look a lot cleaner, I hate the look of a chunk of plastic glued to the car

I have the WADE in channel vent things.
One thing I didn't like is that they distort the rubber seal around the window.
Nothing dramatic or horrible, but you can see the rubber seal bulge where the vent visor goes under the glass frame.
They don't stick out as much as the other ones that stick to the outside of the window.
I am happy with them and I actually think they look good.
I paid $38 on ebay

Default vents

weathertech's snap in, not glued. From the looks of the wade's they donot come down far enough.

The Wades look nice and clean. I might get them... Do they wobble or make noise at high speeds, especially the rears?

Avoid the vent visor ones. As of right now the have fit issues. The notch for the clip on the front ones is in the wrong place so it won't go fully into posistion thus not fit plus the front ones are a little short they don't quite reach the front and tend to pop out.

badbasic, you need to read the other posts before you post stuff. Didn't you read my previous post about Ventvisor Fit issues, it is the very next one above the one you just did. Right now Vent Visors do not fit worth a damn. There have quality control issues they need to take care of. So until that is addressed I would not recomend anyone buy them. I have several sets of them on other applications so I know they can make them RIGHT!
