What does this bra cover? Can I get a clear bra for my g/f? Isn't this just another thing that you have to clean when washing your car? And do you need to remove it when it gets wet? Need to be removed for cleaning?
Let me sugesst a clear bug/stone deflector, see thread called Clear bug deflector gleems.. in Drag Coaficent XB section.

Default I purchased Clearshield

Morning

I purchased a ClearBra for my RS2.0 becuase I have read about paint issues, and I drive over 50 miles to work each way. The product was called ClearSheild. I actually took the factory trained installers 4 or 5 hours to install the delux package on my XB. It looks great, and I am very happy.

You just wash and wax as normal.

I hope your install goes well.

Yeah I did my own.....I used 3M clear Bra. I bought a 12" by 6 foot roll of eBay for $35! I cut 4.25" off the roll and used that for the bottom lip. I made a template out of meat wrapping paper to check fitment. you cannot cut the material on the car. all fitting must be done BEFORE you do the install. the bottom lip has alot of little adjustments needed. then I used the remaing 7.35" for the upper part of my bumper. I did the same thing. I made a template for one side, and flipped it for the other. I did not put the bra behind the Licence plate. this made for two small sections rather that one big one....

Good Luck!

You tell me!
as you can see- you cant see my bra! There are only a few minor blemishes here and there that you can see when you get 6" up to it. But I only spent $40 bucks, and the cheapest I could find in my area that was "Profesionally installed" was $199!

So Im happy!

I also did my graphics on my own- THAT WAS ALOT OF WORK!

If you have anymore questions-keep them comming!

The hardest part was the lower lip. the clearbra spanned the whole width. It was a PITA to install because it was thin and would get turned around easily. If you have a extra set of hands helping you, you should be fine!

Also keep in mind that the materal stretches! you need to make the material slightly smaller in all directions....
