Default Average wait time

For those of you who ordered your Scion XB, what was the average wait time from time of order to when you recieved the car?

It will vary a lot depending on where you live (what state) and how you want it equipped (manual, auto, dead stock, etc). You should mention those things if you want meaningful answers.

Hmm that sounds like a good idea!

I live in Connecticut and I'd like to have the automatic trasmission...nothing else.

No wait time here! Went on a Friday at lunchtime to see IF I'll get approved for the xB and what do you know? The exact one I wanted, sitting right outside the door of the dealership. Went inside got approved and the very next day, Saturday morning, the BCP xB with a manual trans was mine...
Scion(Toyota) made it VERY EASY to get it...

Hahahaha your box is so going to get lost when it snows....

Mine took about a week but I live 2 hours from the Jacksonville port. Got a call while I was in Jacksonville that she was in, flew home in my rental.

They have gotten better at getting them. When I got mine back around when they went nationwide in June/July of 04' it took mine 6/7 weeks for and auto BCP with cruise and spoiler. Now, most the dealers I visit have some sort of inventory on the ground.

When I bought mine in 05 my RS2 was the only box on the lot. When I went to a meet there last week they had at least 7-8 boxes ready to go on the lot.

LOL.. the only time I ever ordered a vehicle was when I ordered an SVT Focus. I recieved the car 10 months to the day that I put a deposit down. Now how bad was some of ya'lls waits again?

NEway.. I am hoping when I get mine I will be able to find one on the lot. I drove one last week pretty much exactly like I would want it, color and all, but it may be gone before I am ready to go in and deal for it.

You may have F'd up. There is no DEALING on Scions. It's called Pure Pricing. If it was what you wanted I would have just got it.

I know there isn't any dealing on the Scion.. but I am more referring to my trade in and the car buying process in general. Just using the term I always have associated with car buying.

I Knew what I wanted it but waited . I owed too much on my other car . Had to pay it down so I wasnt upside down on payments. When i finally was ready I just visited my local Scion place- they had the color and manual I wanted - paid and then drove away. Got very lucky

It is going to be around 2-3 weeks from deposit-to-driving off the lot for me. Fortunately they had a TC auto xB on their next allotment or else it would probably be an extra month or so. Hopefully the car arrives mid-week so I can pick it up over the weekend otherwise it'll be next week...

I would be a bad doctor--I have no patience!

well i bought mine before they were popular here in West Virginia.
They had about 5 or 6 on the lot , test drove it one night after work , then went back the next day and got it. stock , bsp just like i wanted it (auto).
i couldn't wait , my s10 died on me that week, did a temp fix and dumped it off on the dealer. only had to pay 900 difference (considering what needed repaired, that's not too shabby)
