a socket with a ratchet and extension should make removal easier.

The middle plastic piece fo the seatbelt pops off to reveal a 14mm bolt.

You're going to want to slip a piece of pipe over your socket wrench to get a bit more leverage to take the seat bolts off.

Also, there are 2 14mm bolts that hold the seats in where they pivot. You have to pull away the seatback cushion.

Just use a pipe over the handle for extra leverage.

You need to get a good sized socket wrench so you can put some leverage on those bolts. Use the proper tools and the job is much easier.

head over to wallyworld and get yourself a 12v impact gun.
its sounds horrible, but it makes stuff like this so much easier.

i used the gun for my grand marquis seats and on the lugs of many cars.

too expensive for a one use job , just man handle them mine came out quite easily and they are 12mm the number 11 that you saw refers to the grade of the bolt aka strength. mine came out quite easily , every car is different , but just use a bit o force and it should come out easily

I would stay away from electric impacts... I have a makita 12V one, and it sucks. I have since upgraded my air compressor, so I bought a good 1/2" impact. oh, and the extensions you found in your dad's tool box won't help you get that bolt out, those are meant to extend the actual socket to where you can't fit the ratchet (handle).

it also helps if you keep constant pressure on the bolt, they come loose that way sometimes.
