bB2NER needs your prayers. Updated with Pics on pg. 3
Jeff get a quote from a shop to replace all of the parts you have on your list. The insurance company will pay you the price of a shop to do the work and once you get the check then decide to do it yourself.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. The prayers are working. My flesh wounds are healing nicely for sure.
My main problem now is dealing with Geico. They have yet to come and look at her bike. I want to start tearing it down and getting the new parts ordered. Right now just the parts needed are $1500. Clearly not enough to total out a new $3200 dollar bike.

It could go either way prolly but it would cost them closer to 4K with the dest./doc. fees added to the MSRP of $3199 plus having to pay the 9.5% sales tax again. I'm highly doubting they total it especially since I don't think the frame was bent. Just in case tho I'm having a dealer hold a new one for us. These things are hard to find right now being so near the end of the model year. Plus she really likes the silver and Honda can't tell us what color the 09' will be if we miss out on another 08'.
I just hope the adjuster dude shows up here in the next few hours so I can start moving forward one way or another. Her 2nd new windshield just showed up in the mail today. I'm just putting it with all the other new stuff (crash bar, hwy pegs, hard saddlebags and luggage rack) that got delivered after I wrecked it.

I think it had more to do with the trama unit they stuck me in. They weren't capable of doing things that didn't pertain to my head (brain bleeds and growth on my petuitary gland). I'm actually looking forward to going back to work just to get outta the house.
Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. I'm healing way faster than I thought.

I'm already rippin the bent stuff off and ready for the new parts. It's good therapy. I'll try and have my wife shoot some new pics tomorrow evening after she gets home from work. Thanks for the continued concern Bro.

Here again for another update...
Just about healed completly but now running into problems with Gieco.
We've agreed with the amount of the settlement amount. Now we are having problems getting the check to pay for the new parts I had to order to fix her bike. They won't just issue us the check. They tell me that the check also has to have the finance company on it. Now we have to mail the check to American Honda Finance and wait for them to sign off on it after we prove I fixed the bike. What a crock...
I understand why they do this but when you have perfect credit shouldn't there be some trust involved??? I'm just mad it's gonna take so long to get the money to cover everything including my labor.

Just gave the details of the wreck to try and warn others of the dangers of deer this time of the year.
Two weeks before my wreck another guy got taken off the same way but he got killed by an oncoming car. He was on a busier road tho.
I've gotten quite a few calls from people that read the story. It's nice to know people still care.
