I have a stupid question. I see everybody use that word and I have no idea what it means. I have seen bbist.com and know that the bB is Japan's xB, but what the h-e-double hockey sticks is ist?? And why is it such a big thing to make your xB look like a bB?? What makes the Japanese version so special?? Thanks for beign patient w/my stupid questions. Sure there'll be more soon....

 

The ist is the xA in Japan.

 

The japanese version is not special to me by itself but the options that are available on it are nice. Some of us like the subtle options that may not catch everyone's eye initially but add to the vehicle as a whole.

A few subtle mods would be power folding mirrors, lighted ignition ring, turn signal mirror covers (different from the RS2.0 ones),...

I have the lighted ignition ring. It does come in handy at times but very seldom does it get noticed when people just glance.

 

bBist.com is a company that was started by Steve(bBist). He is known for importing bB and iSt parts from Japan. He has developed his own line of carbon fibre parts.

 

Bbist to me is just anyone who likes the original Toyota Bb and wants to emulate it by adding parts to their xB to mirror the look of the bB. I know thats what I try to do with my car cause I like the JDM look.
