I had the urge to buy an intake at SUperAutoBacs the other nite ....
So yeah it said it was for the xB .. i asked the guy there and he said "it should fit the xA too."
I trusted him and got it .... and guess what it didnt' fit....

Plus tryin to get it to fit scratched it up and stuff so I can't return it. Yeaaahh ... so thisis what i did. I got one of those rubber connector things from another intake, a 2.5" to 2.5" connector and connect the end of the Injen intake w/ the stock rubber intake pipe that went from the intake manifold to the stock filter and then I attached the filter to the other end. THere's another hole there for a hose, but I put in a breather there.

SoOooo ... w/ my impatience in buying an injen intake ... i ended up w/ a injen/custom cold air intake. hahahahahhha BUt I dont want crap like that in my car so whoever wants an injen intake for an xB i'll give it to you for 100 bucks (no stickers/licenseplate) it comes w/ filter, hose, clamps, intake. box, instructions, warranty thingy card from in\jen

 

if the sales person stated that it would fit and sold it with the intent that it "would"...then aren't they liable to that claim? unless of course you made the implication that you were gonna "make it fit" regardless. i shop there often and have had no negative experiences. sorry to hear that you had one.

anyways if you can wait for it, the XA/Injen is under development and there's rumors of a new/improved AEM.

 

we had a same situation at modacar with 2Fixa and the injen for the xB. Modacar didn't take it back either, but 2Fixa sold it here on scionlife and is now looking for another intake.
