Default BSP or BOP??

Hey forum.
Got a question/rant for all you stocked to the teeth with advise.

I put down a deposit on a BOP. Good color..I was happy. It was my favorite. But then I got an email from the Dealer saying they're werent any BOP manuals in available and I'd have to wait a month. Well, my second choice was a Black xb.

The question is does anyone who owns one (or knows whatever) have any advice about black. Anything you dont like about it? I figure with the heat that BOP is proabbly the same. But, is there something about black thats boring? Alright, im not being pathetic, i can make up my own mind. But...well....i guess i am being pathetic. Thanks for the advice! Peace.

I've got BOP, and for the most part it looks almost black, much darker than the blue of the xA. I doubt there's any technical difference between the paints, you should have the same finish and all that. Why it would take a month to order a new car, now that the '05 models are shipping (got mine last week here in the last wave region)? Sounds like they're pushing you to take what they have on hand, I would get what you want and will have for several years, instead of what they're pushing on you. Unless you're walking to the dealer and back of course...

Black will tend to get a little hotter than most colors. Like you said, not much worse than Blue. Black and red are the colors that oxidize the fastest, so you'll need to be a little more diligent in keeping it waxed. On the plus side, black paint doesn't show lines and seams in the body. All the rubber trim and spaces between panels blend together, giving it a solid look. And it's so authentic, considering the original meaning of bB is Black Box...

I've seen a couple BSP xBs and am not a fan of it. I have the BOP and it's really a great color.

i have a bsp xb and i can't stop staring at it... i would make love to it if i could lol... in my opinion, it looks incredible with a shaved rear and smoked taillights...

i waited 3 months for mine because i wanted only 1 mile on the odometer, bone stock, manual transmission, and i didn't want any other color. well my advice is, get what will make you happy even if it will take some time because it will be worth the wait!

IMO i think the BOP (which i also have) is the best color. I think the BSP color isn't really black BLACK; it's more of an off black from what i see. I like BOP better because at night it looks black and during the day it's blue (duh) but you get the best of both worlds.

It's worth holding out for the BOP. It's a really pretty color. It looks very dark unless sun or other direct light is shining on it, then it "glows" blue.

Well guys thanks for all the advice and 2cents, but I got a 2005 Camo manual xB. I love the color, but I think out of the 2, I would have picked BOP.
