Thats what I have heard that it does come with the headphones. Man I would have walked out of there , no offense as soon as he said the you know more about scions than me. what a jaqarse! he need a beyotch slap

 

I know but we wanted it. So I guess thats the price we paid, no pun intended. U havent gotten yours have u? I wish the other dealer we had gotten our xb at, could have sold us the new one. They were so nice, didnt try anything. I totally recommend them. Glendale Scion.

Can the other xb owners that got their new xb tell me if they came with the headphone? Or anything else.

Yeah I understand your delimma, you really wanted it and since there are only a limited amount you dealt with the Giant Brown Eye that was "helping" you. I have done all my dealings with Verone at Longo and he has been great and since he is the Scion Manager there he makes sure the rest of his staff is the same way. May I ask what scion dealer you go yours at? I am pretty sure they do come with the headphones but hopefully someone will answer.

 

You bet! It's supposed to come with two pairs of infrared wireless headphones, according to the press release.

 

I am looking to trade in my white 06 xB for the envy green one but I noticed one thing...

A lot of the dealers - if not all of 'em - are getting these cars, then adding the rims, lights, other accessories, etc and asking for crazy amounts above the $16,xxx that is quoted on the scion site itself... I've seen one on ebay for over $21,000!!!!!

I am going to my dealer this weekend to see what the trade-in cost would be to get the nice green box... i will update everyone when I get numbers.... but I have this rule... if the price is going to be $3,000+ my 06 xB, i'm not going to do it. i may as well spend the 3 grand on mods and have it looking hotter than the rs 3

 

Just picked up my RS 3.0 today (#74). 2 headphones (scion branded). No freebie's though (Not even a T-shirt).

 

Congrats on getting your RS 3.0 thats great! Though it Makes me feel that much worse that I don't have mine yet

 

We got it at Toyota of North Hollywood.

Isnt this funny. A bit after I posted this, I got a call from the dealer. Some follow up type of call. So she asks me hows everything. I told her about the manager trying to charge us for a security system that already came with the vehicle. And how it wasnt activated for us.

She then says that she doesnt think the vehicle came with one, because they normally dont. I told her to look at their website and see that it does. I told her I wanted to take my car in and have them activate it properly and I wanted a follow up call explaining why it wasnt done. I then asked her "What would u guys have done if something had happened to my car, due to ur neglect?"

So a few hours later the salesman calls me all nice n sweet. He says "Hey yvette, I have some headphones and the ipod connecter that came with ur car. I didnt realize it came with them" Hmmm I never mentioned those in my call. I think they must have been looking into it and realized they also neglected those items. So I asked him if they told him about the call regarding the security system. He says no. SO I told him about it and his response is "well they dont come with security systems, thats normally an after-market thing"

These ppl didnt even know what was included. He asked me when did I want to pick up the headphones, I told him call me back and let me know when I can take in my scion to have the security system inspected, and I will pick them up then,.......

So lets see what happens.

We paid total price $23599.65

Vehicle price was $17,800. Accessories $3184 (rims im assuming cuzz I dont think we got anything else) plus taxes and gap ins.

 

Wow the incompetence flourishes at North Hollywood Scion hahahah. He was probably instructed from the Brown Eye you dealt with , that "we at this dealership are not including the alarm" Hope it works out for you.

According to the manager, they were one of the first Scion dealers nationwide, and they are one of the biggest. Yet I knew more about the R.S 3.0 then them. And my knowledge was just from the Scion website. Go figure!

 

Yeah, that's what i was faced with when i was originally looking for RS2. Some cars i found around my town were all "suped up" with sunroof, leather seats, 18 inch wheel, etc. which i did not need....

So i waited 7 months and got RS3 instead... Worth the wait, IMO....

prolly have to order them through the dealership, or post up in the classified to see if anyone is getting rid of theres. Don't know why though, they're really nice.

 

Wow the Gulf States Scion dealers in the Lonestar region treat their customers like kings. In the last two years they have thrown more customer appreciation events than i can remember. In Feb thru April there will be 4 major show/ events. I could wear a differnt Scion t shirt every day of the week, Jacket, mugs, keychains, Ipod holder, bags, tie pins, ballpoint pens, I got a replica Texas license plate with my Scion Life name on it, I even got Envy Green Scion Life stickers a few days before my car came in, oh yeah and a Premim Membership here on SL. And talk about knowing the product, they have some bad A Scions. I got personal cel phone numbers of my salesmen, the people in parts know you by name and sevice is painless. I just can't believe some of the things a lot of you people are going through. I guess we are spoiled down here.

 

$3184 for rims, they better be Foose for that price.

I don't know what they have to do to activate the alarm, but there should be an addition to your lower dash for the alarm. Just to the right of the pass. airbag light I have a Scion security plate. This is where the red alarm LED indicator is located. The LED will illuminate when the doors are locked and will start flashing after 30 seconds indicating the alarm is active. Get the operators manual for the alarm when you visit the dealership. It is a 13 page booklet. Verify the alarm works correctly before leaving the dealership. Roll down the window, close and lock the doors, verify the red LED is on, wait 30 seconds and the LED flashes, then stick you arm inside the open window, the alarm should go off and make lots of noise. Fumble with the keys to allow it time to make more noise. Repeat just for fun.

You should also have a foam iPod holder that fits in your drink holder. Looks like a soda can insulator.

Off subject a little. Did any RS3 owners get anything on the stereo? I received a small 5x8 card and that was it. Tells a little about the monitors and headphones, but nothing about the HU.

 

No, No... the wheels were port installed. The car was originally allocated to a dealership in Georgia. The car came thru my shop and had already been to the "wheel shop"... (And was supposed to get leather, exhaust, interior lights.. and a bunch of other stuff... but I caught it in time to get everything else deleted from the work order before it was installed) I noticed it was #1 and began to see what I could do about getting the car either re-allocated or get a dealer swap. Finally managed to get one of the dealers in town to swap with the dealer in Georgia. Took me several weeks to finally get the car. I'll post up some pics as soon as I get a chance.
