$3184 for rims, they better be Foose for that price.

I don't know what they have to do to activate the alarm, but there should be an addition to your lower dash for the alarm. Just to the right of the pass. airbag light I have a Scion security plate. This is where the red alarm LED indicator is located. The LED will illuminate when the doors are locked and will start flashing after 30 seconds indicating the alarm is active. Get the operators manual for the alarm when you visit the dealership. It is a 13 page booklet. Verify the alarm works correctly before leaving the dealership. Roll down the window, close and lock the doors, verify the red LED is on, wait 30 seconds and the LED flashes, then stick you arm inside the open window, the alarm should go off and make lots of noise. Fumble with the keys to allow it time to make more noise. Repeat just for fun.

You should also have a foam iPod holder that fits in your drink holder. Looks like a soda can insulator.

Off subject a little. Did any RS3 owners get anything on the stereo? I received a small 5x8 card and that was it. Tells a little about the monitors and headphones, but nothing about the HU.
The thingy for the alarm is on the dash, at the bottom. Thats when I realized it came with it, so I looked thru the glovebox and found that booklet.

Anyways later that evening my salesperson called me and says "Hey yvette, your car does come with a security system, so ur all set." He said it very cheerfully and as if he was giving me good news. I told him I knew that already and I wanted to take it in to have it programmed by them. So I have an appt on Friday. Lets see what happends.

He didnt mention a remote control, but in looking at the papers, it seems like it did have to come with one.

Ugh I hate all u ppl that have such nice salespersons!!!! No, I dont. Im jk, but I am envious.

And as for the person that paid just above 23k and got all the extras ....... Rub it in more!..... All this and I still havent been "allowed" to drive it.... This sucks!

Default Black Wheels...

BSA 333s. 17x7. Got 'em mounted and balanced last night. The guy at our local wholesale club only charged me twenty bucks!!! Waxed them inside and out in our kitchen until about midnight. I'll have em on the car by tonight and hopefully post pics this weekend. The Tein S-Techs won't make it until Mar 15th. Rotten slow shipper. So yeah, It'll look pretty good, but still up in the air so to speak..

That's alright, it'll give me time to get the OTG stuff in.

Stealth Fosgate 12" subs under the front seats is next. I 3-D modeled a box with the recommended .85 cu ft (interior space) using 3/4" mdf that will fit completely under the seats without taking any foot room!

HELP ME! I'm stuck in mod-mode and can't escape...

The stock rear bumper applique is black with holes in it so when you apply it the paint color shows through the holes. Every dealer has these.

Got #74, Placed a down payment on it 1/25/06. Got a call it was in on Mar 6. Took one day to go through prep and picked it up on 3/7/06. Had 2 freaking miles on it. Got a manual.

$16,880 for the car.
$1,012.8 (06% sales tax)
$92.50 for the Documentation fee
$1.25 Indiana Tire Tax

For a grand total of 17992.25

No added options. Thought about several, but decided that I could get the stuff online cheaper and install it myself (pretty handy with a wrench and pliers). Thought about the sunroof and decided against it. No freebie's though.

No Zim, I'm still waiting too... Dealer said 2 weeks, 2 weeks ago.

I have not acually purchased the vehicle yet, just gave them a $500.00 chech as a deposit. I have first dibs on it when it comes in. I'm curious, I have not heard anyone mention they paid the $540.00 Del, Proc % handling fee that is called out on the Build you Scion page. Has anyone had to pay that? I hope I can get away with not paying that...

Thanks for the forum, it has been very helpful already and I don't even have my car yet.

The $16880 price you see people refer to should have the delivery fee included in it but will not have the documentation fee added. Some dealers have different amounts for the documentation fee and you can shop around a bit to see if you can find a dealer that posts a lower doc fee, but the delivery fee is generally non-negotiable and must be paid. The dealer will list their doc fee on their website under the "New Scion Pricing" section. Because of Pure Price, whatever they list as their doc fee they must charge, but they are free to list whatver they want to.

I just took delivery of mine (#314) on Wednesday! I swear I had to wait YEARS for it to come in. I know for a fact that it sat at the port for more than a month waiting for the equipment to be installed.

But...it was so worth the wait!! I drove it from Seattle to Portland the day after I got it, and I love it! Great ride, looks awesome...exactly what I wanted!

The $540 delivery fee is part of the sale price, and is on every vehicle. I added some equipment to mine, and just ordered the special edition strut tie bar.

Be patient...you will be so happy when it comes in!

Thanks Drelkor and MNScion, that was exactly what I needed. Good news. I was thinking it was in addition to the $16880.

I looked up the documentation fee from my dealers web sight. They are a bit behind, I don't even think they have updated with 2006 pricing, no less RS 3.0 pricing. Anyway, the documentation fee listed is just $50.00.

I want to order the green strut tie bar like you did MNScion, as days go by, i worry that supply will run out.

deadbraincells wrote that he/she got cruise control from the dealer. That is aftermarket, just installed by the dealer... am I right? I want that too, but I want to research a bit and make sure I get a good one that looks OEM. How did yours turn out dead?
