Default Camo Introduction

Hi all,

My name is Joey I am 28 and I live in a suburb of Houston. I have been a lurker since I became interested in the xB and I finally picked up my 05 Camo xB about two weeks ago. Factory options were fogs, rear spoiler and the upgraded tailights. I have been waiting to get it modded to my liking before I posted pics and it finally stopped raining here long enough to clean it up. Mods so far are
-17" Flik Artic wheels with 215/40/17's
-Debadged
-Billet grill
-Fujita short ram
-Lots of cleaning!!! :-)

The car was stock except for a AEM cold air intake which I believe may have dealer installed. I just swapped to the Fujita this weekend which I like a lot. The other mods I am contemplating are a set of Tein H-techs and maybe a header (this is my commuter car I have a 69 Dodge Dart Swinger as my hotrod). This is my first Japanese car and I can say I like it alot I am a die hard Mopar guy. Please let me know what you think. If anyone is interested in a AEM cold air intake I have the one I took off the car listed on ebay

Here is a link to a pic of my 69 for those interested (more can be found on that same site)

Thanks for the welcome! As for the Tein S techs I have contemplated using those instead but I am concerned with losing some ride quality the xB already rides a little rough. I used to have a Dakota R/T with the Hotchkis TVS on it and it would beat my teeth out! Houston rodes aren't the best

Mine rides pretty good with them on there I had the trd springs on my last one and they rode like crap. the stechs ride good. Start a post about who in your area has s-techs on there box and i'm sure they wouldn't mind takin you for a ride in it before you make a desision.

cool stuff. welcome.
how hard was the swap from the AEM to the Fujita? I'm thinking about maybe doing that in the future as well.
Same goes with the HTechs, looking into them ... all i've heard about Htechs is that they ride a lot smoother than the stock springs and have improved handling of course.
i have the strup header, which is a quality piece. really kicks the mid-high range and gives a better rumble. might want to look into an exhaust or tip as well. the stock pipe looks very wimpy IMO.
anyway, nice to have you over from the domestic side. haha.

Carnuba- That's a good idea I know the S-techs will really put it down, I like the way they look for sure.

oni424- I live pretty close to Friendswood I am off the bay in La Porte.

evosky- The swap from the AEM to the Fujita was fairly easy the most time consuming part was getting the AEM out of there. There is a bolt that goes to a support bracket under the battery tray that was a bit of a challenge but it came out with some patience. The proper way to get that bolt out is to remove your splash shields and I didn't want to do that so I found a way around it. The Fujita install was a breeze it's a lot cleaner look than the AEM.

I'm running H.Tech right now... I like them. I want to go lower though. I'm either thinking S.Tech or Goldline.

I should have some pics in my profile.
