My late step father in law, Dr. Drew Batavia, was a quad. And he had a Dodge Caravan that was equiped like that, so I know how the door works. It's rather heavy, first off. Second, it costs a lot to do. I know at the time he got the Dodge it jumped the price to $28,000, and this was about ten years ago. So today, it would be a lot more, I can only guess.

I think it's a great idea, and am pleased to see it. But now that I think about it, I wonder how the SCION engine handles the extra weight. And how/if they kept the cost down.

They have a lambo door kit for the xB, but I can't remember where I saw it. Also the same place has a suicide door kit.

By far my favorite part of that car is the fact that it's rollin' on 17s. The disabled can still floss rims.

I believe scion gives out a $2000 credit for disabled access.

veey kul! If you look at the Scion.com site they have a whole section on the mods scion will do for easier entry/exit of the car. One thing you may be interested in is the swiveling front seats. They can mod the front seats to turn out and I believe move to the side as well for easier access. Sounds nice to me!
