Default car is not working. read and help plzzz....

this is a long one people, iv got a few problems and im at the end of my rope...
so i got into an accedent recently. everything was working fine befor the accedent, mius the fact that i knew i needed a new alternator but it was working enough for the car to run but i knew it was going bad. so i got into this accident, little 5 mile an hour fender bender that ended up being 5 grand worth of damage. so the car was "drivable" home it had a really rough idle but as long as i had my foot on the gas it was fine.
so i get the car back from the shop the other day and the idle problem is even worse now the car will shut off if it is in park for more than 30 seconds. also nothing works on the inside of the car. the windows wont come down the remote start / security wont work. my dash lights come on sometime when i accelerate to tell me my abs traction control and check engine light is on. the clock wont work. the speedometer/ tach/ gas wont register unless i have my foot on the gas.
so the shop gives me the car back like this and says change the alternator and the battery and everything should be fine. they wanted 500$ to do it it told them they were nuts so i just changed it this morning an also had the battery checked... so everything is fine now??? no its not nothing has changed everything is still broken.
there is a lot of aftermarket equipment in the car, but i have 2 batteries in the car and all the after market stuff is hooked up to the 2nd battery. so i can make this electrical system completely stock if i wanted too. both battery are run with a battery isolator to charge them both. it been working fine for a year i don't think its that. i even took it off an tried to run the car normally and it still wont work.
im taking the car back tomorow morning but i just wanted to ask and see if anyone here has ever had this problem r can help me out?? thanks alot if you can and thanks for reading.

Sounds like you have some serious electrical issues. Your aftermarket setup could be the problem. I would change all batteries and alternator. If you still have problems, you should pay some money to fix it and avoid the stress. I am sorry I cant help anymore, but thats all i suggest.

i dont think aftermarket set up would cause him to get CEL or windows not rolling down... I wonder if ur fuses are blown... check all ur fuses, check and see if your MAF pipe is damaged or leaking anywhere...

where were u hit from?

What about if the MAF sensor is messed up? Maybe when they were fixing the damage caused from the accident they weren't careful enough?

Check the voltage of your battery, and have it tested/charged.

I had a situation where my battery was so drained the car barely started(left a door open). And once it started the gas gauge wouldn't work, several warning lights were on on the dash, and lots of other stuff was not working properly. I drove it maybe 10 minutes & 5 miles like that with no change. Pulled into a shop and they tested my battery, it had only 8.5volts. A charge of the battery and everything worked properly again.

recently having had the entire front end of my box replaced i found several things...

1) check your fuses if they are blown replace..if they blow again consider step 3

2) the cable directly from the ground on ur battery that attaches to your radiator support needs to be as well as your other grounds a good contact..mine was not and was diagnosed after removing and finding they repainted the support and never made a clear contact for the ground. this also lit my dash up like a Christmas tree. i would check all of ur grounds from engine to chassis. The grounds are very finiky and need perfect connection. My XB with just 1 improper ground at the battery made it idle rough/die/sputter and make none of my lights in or out of the car work..no power window/locks almost to a tee what you are experiencing. O btw i was also told my battery was bad and was causing all of this..my battery was 4 months old..it was not bad.

3) look over the online tutorials and look at the wire diagrams to see if any looms in the engine bay or wires may have gotten pinched or crushed during impact or repair. a partially crushed wire creates more resistance thus making sensors read inaccurately or not at all

your problems sound almost exactly to what i had experienced....hopefully this helps any other questions let me know...hope this helps
