Default car wash?

I went to the car wash and they classified my XB as a mini van? I paid two dollars more then the car behind me and my car was smaller. Should this have happened? :?:

I would find a new car wash to go to. Sounds a little rediculous to me.

personally, i would not take my xB to a car wash....i used to take my Sable to my local car wash and they did a great job, but i would find little scratches and nicks and i am sure it was done by the car wash....

i can not wash my own, but i have a guy detail it every 4-6 weeks and then i spray it off at the coin-op car wash on weekends and use the spot free rinse and it looks good again...

Our vehicle is claasified as a station wagon by AAA. Go back and get your refund!! And tell them to call AAA if they have any beef!! I hate when people judge before they know!

I definetly do not recommend a regular car wash when those drying towels hit your vehicle they can scatch the clear coat pretty badly. Especially us over here on the East Coast during winter time the cars take a beating. Just picture over a hundred cars rolling through the car wash full of sand/salt ect. and your vehicle be wiped down with the same drying towels.

I would find a touchless car wash or just wash the car myself.

If the place is decent, then its not the towels you have to look out for, its the recycled water! Yes, they have filtration units, but do you think that they change them when they are supposed to? Water here in southern NJ is med-hard as it is, now with all the road salt, you couldnt pay me enough to roll an new car trough there.

"Hello sir, that will be 9 bucks for the car wash, salt water free of charge "

Hand washing a car is the only way to go. even the touchless carwashes your recycled water .... and it has the power of a pressure washer ... imagine grains of sand coming out the nozzle ... so every time it gets close to or above freezing ... I go outside and hand wash my car. can't wait till warm weather hits ... I'll wash my car weekly ... LoL

Funny, when I went they tried to charge me the SUV price...Took a little convincing but the lady finally agreed it was a wagon, and hand washing sounds like the least lethal for all of us!

Thanks! I am not going back to that car wash. They do a great job and I have never had any of my cars scratch there. They still insist that it is a mini van. ?? I still don't get it.? I'll be washing it be hand from now on.. (or I'll have my hubby do it)

if they do such a nice job, why don't you go there on a busy day and park your xB next to a mini-van and show them the size difference...

maybe that would convince them....

just a thought.....
