Default CHIPS IN WINDSHIELD

I am on my 4th windshield for my XB. I got another chip today in the windshield. I might have to get another one. This will be my 5th. I am thinking about sueing SCION for this poor design.

Good luck winning that lawsuit...

Not following other vehicles closely will help immensely.

I have 4 stars on my windshield already but haven't replaced it yet. Will do in a couple of weeks. Just try to stay away from cars especially SUVs and big rigs.

I know. I try to stay away from big rigs. I do not follow cars closely. All three chips have been from a big rig. Just like today. There were 4 lanes. The big rig was in the right middle lane. I was in the left middle lane. I moved to the far left lane to pass it. Then carck. I have bad luck. I need bullet proof glass.

I have 0

I dont follow people on the freeway.. What i mean is i dont follow big rigs or other cars im always zooming about and weaving in and out of traffic... hehe in hindsight I doubt you would have gotten 4 speeding tickets in the same amount of time?

Tickets seem cheaper then windshields?

I got one in 15k miles and 18 months of driving in new england (read: lots of gravel). Seventy dollars and a call to the windshield repair place later it's good as new. No need to replace it every time you get a star.

Very true... I have about 4-5 nics on my windsheild all due to following someone closely on the freeway. Trucks that deliver stones... ugh... they'll get you man... its like rocks bouncing on the road waiting to hit your xB.

I already had an incedent with my hood where a piece of bark, or stone, hit it leaving a huge dent. It's kind of dumb to say, luckily I got into an accident later on in the month after getting hit by that piece of bark, and had my Hood replaced even though it wasn't part of the accident ;D
