Default Christmas came early this year...

Here's an example of why SL is so cool...

I had asked in a classified post about ground wires about getting a set in red, and no luck, only being made in black... several days later a fellow named Bob (oldmanatee on SL) PM's me to ask if I'd like some red ones. I said sure and how much... he made them and sent them to me for FREE. Crazy, right? What a guy... ''

He even included Mikochu's instructions, made everything very simple.

They even matched my amp cable... now i want to do everything red in my engine bay

These definitely make a difference... less bogging down/ECU stuttering, and just seems to run better in general.

Another cool a$$ SL guy is Bill (violentB) who happens to work at Metra... he's helped me with alot of mods and hooked up some interior lighting and audio stuff for me yesterday. One of the red cathodes was busted in shipping so I didn't try to photograph the lighting... but in a week or so should have the footwells, engine bay, cupholders and speedo all glowing red.

I've had the Scosche stealthy sub box for a few weeks now... I didn't cut a hole in the OEM cargo cover cuz I wanted to see how stealthy I could make it. I put some weatherstripping tape underneath the cover to stop must of the buzzes, but it seemed some of the bass energy was trapped underneath it... So Bill cut a hole with a Dremel and cover it with a low-profile grille in (which the manufacturer recommends...) Bill did all the wiring for the install.

Not pretty, but when covered up looks nice...

This setup with a 250w Punch amp is more than enough power for the box, can vibrate the mirrors of cars next to me

Outside Metra (Bill's insane xB on the left...)

Thanks guys for making SL so damn cool.

Having a constant ground will help elminate power loss, thus improving overall performance of components, such as ignition, were loss of spark is a key to engine performance.

IN SHORT: Your grounding wires are the foundation of your car's electrical system. Resistance, in the form of electrical impedance, is the enemy of your car's electrical equipment. High quality grounding cables minimize resistance and help make sure that all of the electrical equipment in your car is performing as well as it can.

Awww shoot yall....I don't deserve what yall said. But thanks for saying it. I was helped out with my first set of grounding wires from a great guy from deepsouthscions named xxbox and I thought it was the right thing to pass that along. It's the circle of life, Simba. Boxer, I'm glad you like them.

I am proud to be a member of some great clubs that have so many great people!
