Personally, I don't think it would be TOO illegal to have just the top of your car done in chrome, but if would be VERY illegal to have the entire car done like the two in the beginning of the post.

In Florida, the thing that makes cars "illegal" on the street is an overdone amount of eye-candy. If you have a WAY outta wack body kit... "illegal." If you have a body kit that is too wide... "illegal." If you have fabricated hulk hands and feet protruding from the sides of your vehicle (Tokyo Drift)... "illegal."

Why? Because it causes drivers to stare you down, and you become the center of attention on the road instead of the road being a center of attention; which causes accidents.

Chromed out car= illegal.
Chrome of the top= not so much...

 

this thread was discussed about a year or so ago. the chrome paint is uber expensive from what i heard. i like the paint but imo it would be good for a think pinstripe or something. i like color :-P

 

i may have to look into this for a 2 tone with BOP
