Cold weather toasters -- frozen windsheild wiper hose?
I've had the car for a week, bought it in Florida and drove it up north to cold Michigan. My windsheild wiper hose has frozen twice so far. It has never happened to any of my other cars before.
I suppose it could be a different type of fluid used in FL that freezes sooner, or somehting wrong w/ the hose.
Anyone have this problem? (suggestions?)

Being from Fl, they probably mixed a lot of water in with the fluid to save money ?? The best stuff to use to prevent freeze-up is the Prestone yellow stuff. It never freezes. The blue cheap stuff freezes to your windsheild as soon as you spray it. Prestone doesn't.

I read somewhere on a windshield wiper fluid bottle that in the winter you are supposed to mix half fluid/half anti-freeze. Some come pre-mixed.
Anyhow if you are too lazy ... look for the premixed kind.
up here the newest thing is some sort of de-icing windshield fluid (rainx and other brands). Not sure what that is will have to check it out (maybe its just premixed fluid).
Apparently there have been advances in windshield fliud technology, as there are more and more kinds... like anti-bug? I assume it dissolves the bug bodies or something.
