So, I've seen many many xBs out there that have extra 3rd party body kits on them. Main question: How much would it cost for anything to be painted by a body shop? I also have a scratched bumper (rear), and might get a new replacement.. hrmp..

The first part you have painted will require a pint of paint to be mixed, so for pieces like body kit parts the first piece should be around $200-300 (with $100 or more being paint cost). Additional pieces should take 1.5 to 2.5 hours labor and a little more materials per each so add $100-$150 per piece. Full set of 4 lip pieces should be around $400-700 to paint...this assumes they are ready to paint which is an unlikely assumption with aftermarket lip parts. Most aftermarket lips need at least some work before they can be painted.

Ouch.. thanks for the heads up. Looks like I will have to save some major cash flow to paint my baby! hhehe
