Can a dealer on this site give us any accurate information on the 06 xb's yet? When are the new colors coming out and when can we order them? All this confusion does us no good if we have no accurate info. I just talked to a scion representative that said there werent any suggested color changes for the 06's. Is this just hush up or what? WE need a credible source for our information. Thanks.

 

I hate to say it but it is really kind of genius on their part, in regards to marketing. If you are wanting a new color choice or considering a 06 xB this ambiguity really keeps your interest peaked. Mystery makes you want one even more.

 

I work for toyota. They market things very well. Lets just say someone was looking at 05s and there was a white one. But there was an 06 coming out in a color they like (pink or something) they would say to themnselves" im just going to wait until the 06 comes out to get the color I want" they want to get rid of all of the 05s first. The dealership I work for ahas crappy inventory due to toyota thinking like this

 

You can order them now(new colors=Shadow Mica(Camo metallic replacement) and Salsa Red(Black cherry pearl replacement)...the only problem is that when a dealer gets the allocation, we dont know what we are getting right off the bat. Thats when swaps and good relations come in handy w/ the Regional and District Reps
We should see some in the beginning of August which aint too bad for us over on the east coast.
