Like the reindeer joke!!! Yeah usually about 3 accidents a year. The only thing is this is my first MY FAULT/DEER ever. So hopefully it wont go up. Just got an estimate. Parts are cheap for this thing. Total cost $4,094.12 . Labor cost $2,734.04. Parts only cost $831.90 Taxes disposal 528.20. They said it could go as high as $5,000-$6,000 depending on any further damage they find inside. WOW!!!

2 damn funny... yeah have the body shop get the quote as to how much it will be to fix it, then take that amount and go shopping for parts you might want instead... I did that with a mustang I had years ago. I had to buy a new bumper but also picked up a cool new hood.. good luck and tell me how dear tastes :?

Ok well guys I opted to repair stock now. Found some headlights I kinda liked, The Led Halo lights but I was concerned with quality on theese aftermarket items. So I figured I would repair it back to stock and do it the right way, buying pieces at a time to modify the looks. this car is not like others I have owned and customized. So few optiions for so much cash and little quality. Well she's in the shop being repaired by the best in Ohio.

damn that blows...Its good you have insurance, allot of people dont. I saw a person get impaled by the deer horns once, after the deer entered the windshield....it was not pretty.

If it were me, I'd order the oem upper front bumper, with a lower c/f lip and a c/f hood. Carbon creations is a very good place, but one of the most expensive too. Also, I would forget about the oem headlights. Order some Helix projectors and goto Xenith and get the tekone hids.

sorry bout your box...knox on wood.

edit: I'd also get the carbon fiber, or unpainted grill with the halo/fog style lights. That thing is jdm awsome.

I looked at some of those headlights. I liked them but am afraid of the quality of them. I have read some bad things about them. I also had thought about going for some kind of body kit, but then I figure labor to install most of that stuff would be ridiculous. The shop repairing it charges a lot more an hour for labor than most. The hood believe it or not was not damaged a bit. I figure I would just rebuild stock for now and check into head lights grills etc later. This way I will still have stock to fall back on.

At least you are thinking it through. and NO part, no matter how great it is, is going to fit like the OEM part. You would be paying more for labor to get those aftermarket parts put on. It can wait till you get some extra money and time down the road..Good luck with the box AND BE CAREFUL!!!!!
