Then you were given NO value for the tires you supposedly 'traded in' to them. They were a gift.
I phrased it a bit differently with my dealer: Would it cost me any more to get the big wheels option after I wore out the stock tires? The answer was no. This means that they did not consider my wheels/tires as a part of the deal...

Once he anwsered that question he dropped the 6 months since I've bought my XB. Very valid point. I should have done this a long time ago. I accepted that and asked him how much I could pay him to have a spare set as I'm going to use them for cross country driving comming up next month. Since I have already bent two rims in South Carolina. He told me he would take care of me. I understand both sides and am glad we both came to a solution where neither is walking away upset.
