Certainly seems so! This is evidence in favor of the theory that the xB helps prevent speeding tickets, by fooling the radar.

(either that, or the speedo is not calibrated correctly?)

As for speeding tickets? Hmm.. the best way to avoid those is get a nice set of *****

j/k
lmao
And you would know this, I am guessing...

Price of the xB: $15,000
Price of the mods for the xB: $5,000
Getting out of a ticket (brought on by the xB with the mods), because you have *****?
Priceless.

*****. There everywhere you want to be.

Yes I did sell my Evo. At least I sold it to my brother, so I will still be able to drive it on occasion. Hey, I'm poor now. Buying a 1/2 million dollar home will do that to you. The xB costs half that of a new Evo.

My old car was a 400+ HP LT1 powered Caprice....

I did not get tickets because the cops all new me from my car and my plates....

However I am picking up my brand new xB today at about 5 pm. I made my decision based on

1: mpg (I used to get 10-15 burning premium)
2: interior space (seating space mostly)
3: Toyota reliability
4: low purchase price
5: unique looks

now i feel much more inclined to just lean back with a "look at me" attitude ;)
i know what you mean! my SI is not fast at all but it is lightly modded and feels quick, so its fun to drive. back when i first got it i had a 30-40 mile commute to work.. well i formed an addiction to speed (not the drug!) and just HAD to top it out every morning for a month. i have no idea how i never got any tickets or wrecked. it tops out at ~138-142, maybe more if youre on a long hill ;) if anyone cares. i guess its good that i couldnt ever afford boost. after driving a friends boosted MR2 i was instantly addicted. i surely would of killed myself with enough boost.

im hoping that the xB will put me into that chill mood. now if i can just get financed....

STEALTH TECH !!!
I can`t believe it, ANOTHER reason to have an xB!!
also:
I had 4 Honda`s in a row, extremely boring.
I can`t wait until Im able to turn it into a WOODY !!
The way it drives, its fun/quick/turns great.
Gas Mileage
Space and Roomy seating.
It reminded me of a Milk Truck or Ice cream truck. ( But the other day I saw a white xB with a big RED CROSS on it, a medical delivery truck. I love that!)
Cool Stereo and amount of speakers .
Im a MUCH more Relaxed driver- I dont get angry because a taller truck blocks my view ahead.
Im able to go as fast as I want and keep up with traffic and do inclines nicely.
Its a Toyota

It sold for less than the price of a good used car... and oozed style, practical, reliable and easy to mod
