Did you know? Followed by a question...
I was looking and my G/F's xB that is blue and I was also looking at my buddy's xB that is silver and I was checking out were the B-pillars go (the carbon fiber ones) and I figured out that the black one is the only xB with a fully painted door no other xB is. I my self have a blck xB so I would like to know if it would look nice with the carbon fiber B-pillars or just leave it as is cause that doors look good painted already (I’m trying to give my xB a black w/ carbon fiber look too it.) Thanks Scion Family…

all of the xbs have fully painted doors...only the black xB doesnt have the vinyl. alot of owners have removed the vinyl around the doors and it is color matched underneath. peel it off!

There was a post quite a while ago with instructions on how to remove the black vinyl from the B pillars. Might want to do a search for it so you dont accidentally mess up your box if you do it wrong.

It's simple. Get a hair dryer, warm it up and peel the edges off and then try to pull in as large of pieces as possible. Go slow and keep it warmed up. Use some GooGone to clean the residue and don't forget to wax it. It looks awesome with it peeled, IMO. I peeled mine before putting my CF pillars on and wish I would've done it long ago. I always thought the black frame added to the black window area, but it looks better shiny and painted.
