Default Does your front doors rattle from the speakers?

Something really starting to ____ me off. When i have the music on, which is always, and there is some bass, even a little bass, my front doors rattle. It seems to be comin from the door lock and the window buttons. I have to press on the whole fabric area to stop the rattlin". Anybody else got that problem?

I have that same exact problem on my xA. For me it happens on the front driver side door. It only happens with certain songs though, it's weird.

I get the same thing on my passenger door when the bass is pumping, but it doesn't always do it. I noticed it a lot more when my car was new...I'm not sure if it stopped doing it as much or if I just stopped noticing it.

It's not a problem. On my current to be replaced Camry, it does that depending on songs. Like Crystal Method, or Ludacris, i get a lot of thump by the doors, the windows and back windows. It's normal due to the music that's playing. Sound may be invisible but's it's there...

Ummm, 1.5 words... Dyna-Mat!!!! It is the best stuff, or go with the Circuit City kind, I think it is call tsunami or something. I got a $100 kit at Circuit City, and because the box was opened, I had them mark it down 20%, it is all over my mustang and it works well!!!

That other mat is call RammMat I have it in both of my current cars. It is very similar to dynamat extreme but much cheaper and lighter. It is a great product, and will make a huge improvment in blocking road noise and keeping your tunes in the car.

Default Dynamat

I just bought 2 pk of the 10455 Xtreme kit - 9 - 18"x32" sheets for $105 each. They have turned their shipping cost into a profit center. But even with the elevated shipping price it was still the cheapest I could find.

If anyone knows someone who works at a Best Buy, ask them to buy the Dyna Mat for you. The markup is ridiculous, I used to work there and bought it for about 70% off the retail price.

Or, I heard that you can go to Home Depot and get some sort of roofing material sheets that work just the same and are super cheap. Sounds stupid, but heard it from a guy who seems to know what he's doing!

well dynamat can get to be kind of expensive, u guys might want to check out secondskin, fatmat, and edead which will give 90 percent of the results at half the price. i have about 100 sq ft of secondskin and the difference is night and day. but sometimes i feel like breaking that damn winshield wiper off the rear hatch.

i think his website is secondskinaudio.com but if your a member at www.caraudioforum.com and send him a pm about pricing he will give you a huge discount. its pretty easy to as long as you clean the surface you are applying it to and maybe use a roller but its not really necessary. i would say that most people could do it but it takes practice to get really good at applying it. maybe just ask one of your friends to help you out or something. also edead is a pretty good value at www.edesignaudio.com i used it on my last car and it worked great as well.
