After I remove the window switch plate, switches and door pull, can I get the cloth-covered door inserts out of the xB door panels without pulling the whole door panel? Or do I have to remove the whole door panel to separate the two?

I have leather inserts to install over the cloth and I was looking for some advice on the easiest way to do it right.

what I have heard is that the inserts are "plastic welded" in and you will need to cut it out, that would mean taking the door panel off

 

the cloth part does not seperate from the door panel, the cloth area is just an indented area to glue down the fabric.

peel off the fabric, and glue in the leather
